Pep Rally at Highland High School

The awesome students at Highland High School are amazing. They have this really unique class that is all about community service  and they host blood drives at their school. They are the best in the state!! I don't know how they do it,,,but they get about 175 people to donate blood! AMAZING!

One of the girls who will take over the class next year (Alex) asked Mia if she could come speak at the pep rally to tell kids her story to hopefully inspire them to donate blood.

How sweet are they...they made signs for Mia.

Seriously SO sweet!!

#MiracleMia - LOVE

Mia actually called out the Egbo's - she saw them dancing on youtube and wondered if they would come dance for her. They said yes, so sweet!!! Mia is here today to laugh, play and dance because people donate blood. Without all the students in the back ground that donate blood, Mia wouldn't be here.

They were so sweet, they gave Mia a gift basket in front of the whole school!!

Thanks you guys!

They really have youtube videos of them dancing...you should check them out on youtube!
#EgboFlow

These teachers need to win an award for SOMETHING!!! They are THEE best...so cool, hip and fun. They teach the community service class and clearly love teaching and their students!!

Here we are chilling in the stands...do we blend in?? Mia's older sister Ashley (goes to Hamilton) and her boyfriend Landon (goes to Desert Ridge) came out to support Mia!

We love Emma, Alex & Tyler - they will be taking over the class and be the blood drive coordinators next year when Paige graduates this year. They are so sweet and kind!!

Mia has never liked needles, so when people say they are afraid to donate blood, Mia says..."Suck it Up!" If she can do it, you can do it and save lives.

We really thank you guys for doing this for Mia...and how fun that Landon and Ashley got to come and watch!!

After the pep assembly we celebrated with milkshakes....!!!

Blessed to have so much support from family, friends and strangers....thank you so much! #blessed
