Merry Christmas

"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16
The Christmas Eve service at EVBC...was beautiful. The singing was amazing, and the story of how Jesus came into the world is always a joy to hear. Ashley and I picked up my mom for the service...thanks Ashley for taking a picture of us

CHRISTMAS EVE

Dennis & Pam - Matt's parents came up from Tucson to stay with us for Christmas Eve...

Fun & games - Bingo, Domino's, & Uno
Ho! Ho! Ho! - A visit from Santa...
Madison was not excited to see him.
Wow - Santa's stomach is really big...and an odd shape!
Well Mia, have you been good this year?
Can I sit on your lap, Santa?

Christmas Morning

U-Dub-opoly... goes to Dennis since he is alumni!

Mia wanted to take a picture of the tree...good job Mia!

Christmas at Grannie's House

Keeping busy...

Christmas Dinner

We all went to my mom's house for Christmas dinner...it was so beautifully done. A tradition in England is to have Christmas crackers...sitting on the plates. You grab an end and pull...there is a special prize inside and a hat that you have to wear!
Alyssa and Ashley pulling hard...
Dennis and Pam...ready to see what's inside!

Some of the yummy food we ate...

We really had a great time celebrating and eating together, and wearing our hats!

We finished off the evening with a little Christmas Karaoke...my ears are still ringing from that!

Winter Wonderland

There is a first time for everything...even seeing the snow! We decided to take a family day trip with our dear friend's the Rose's, to Flagstaff to finally see some snow. Brrrr...was it cold! After a few stops along the way and a long drive, we made it to Wing Mountain for some sledding.
'I really don't like this cold, wet...stuff!' - Madison seeing snow for the very first time.
But we do! - Ashley, Alyssa, Keegan, & Mia

Oh, it's not so bad as long as we can hitch a ride!
Snow Angels
Are you cold yet? I'm cold just looking at the picture!
Time to Sled
Here we go...!

That's Matt, Mia, & Madison way down at the bottom of the hill...

There goes Keegan & Ashley...weeeee!!!

Doug, Stef, Keegan, & Kaden Rose - What a sweet family!
Alyssa was so cold...she was ready to be done...and pretty much everyone else except for the big kids...Matt and Doug. It was 21 degrees...but with the wind it felt like anywhere between 12-17 degrees. Mia and Madison made it about 20 minutes...and then they had enough!
On Matt's last run down the hill...the sled we borrowed broke! So sorry Keith!
It truly was beautiful...I hadn't seen the snow since 1996 - so it was really neat for me just to see it.

Awwww....Madison was so tired she fell asleep in the back of the car standing up leaning on the seat. The poor thing was so cold and tired. Mia fell asleep too, and they both were snoring.

We stopped by Northern Arizona University - to see the campus, and pose for a family picture!
After that, we were off to an early dinner before heading back down to Chandler.
Matt & Doug - Stef & Kristi

The girls making their dough...that they bake for you! What fun...
Oh the icicles...we've never seen so many icicles!

"Ho! Ho!...No!"

We went to downtown Chandler to see...Santa! Mia was so excited to see him because she wasn't scared this year. Madison on the other hand was...terrified! Even holding her lovie, baby, and a doggy, she did not want to see him, but of course, I had to get at least one shot!

Mia was so good...and she told Santa what she wanted for Christmas.

Ashley has reached the age where she does not want to do...this kind of stuff anymore. So at least she can take the picture of us doing the stuff. Can you even see Santa back there?!

I love my sign!

I finally found a place for my sign! Since we have such high ceilings...I couldn't hang it where I originally wanted to. But where it's at now, when you first walk in the house...you walk straight towards it. I love it! Thanks so much to Sara who made it for me...

Picking up my sign in Friday Harbor about a month ago from the Parson's house. Thanks again!
