Mia's 91st blood transfusion

Here we are again at Mia's 91st...it's only been 3 weeks
since the last transfusion.
Mia had Miss Ashley & Miss Tracy for her nurses.
Miss Ashley knew Mia when she was REALLY
little...we are so happy to have her back, she's fun!

She really didn't feel the greatest this time.

But making a Ginger Bread house helped!

Roaming the halls...

It was purple day in POTC - it's the day we
remember a very special little girl named Layla.
She went to be with the Lord 3 years ago, she would
have been 9 years old if she were still alive today.
We will always remember you sweet girl!

Boot Camp Blood Drive

Oh looks like boot camp!
Another boot camp blood drive in honor of Mia.

These ladies are so helpful when it comes to blood drives!
They all brought food and donated items...
plus Capri stayed and helped with everything
so Mia and I could walk around and thank
everyone for coming.

Talk about someone who is ALWAYS there for me,
Melinda Edwards, and her hubby.
It never fails, they are always there to do anything
to help. LOVE.

Miss Stacey - who had every excuses to not come,
showed up...it was her second time donating blood.
Mia was there and her friend Brianne.

Ohhhh, this is so cute...Brianne & Mia showing
Isaac something on the Ipod.

Brian is at every single one of our blood drives as well.
Thank you Bro!

Oh this warms my heart.
This is Tiffany and Brianne, who we meet
at a Hopekids event...
who we then saw in the hospital.
We've been running into them ever since.
It's always good to have a hospital buddy.

Mia's 90th blood transfusion

I cannot believe she lasted through the holidays,
she went from Nov. 28th-Jan.3rd - whew.
Her counts were low, that's for sure.
But she's a trooper and she made it,
even with a smile on her face!
Bravest girl I know!!!
