I can't believe this day is finally here!
The planning and details that have gone
into making this party has been - AMAZING!
Pretty much everything was donated.
And I could not have done it without:
Kelly, Kim, and Melinda (from boot camp:)
Including this amazing cake by: Let Them Eat Cake
Mia qualified for Icing Smiles who then hooked
us up with Let Them Eat Cake.
"Icing Smiles is a nonprofit organization that provides custom celebration
cakes and other treats to families impacted by the critical illness of a child.
We understand that the simple things, like a birthday cake,
are luxuries to a family battling illness. Our goal is to create a custom cake
for the ill child, or their sibling, that provides a temporary escape from worry
and creates a positive memory during a difficult time."
They are seriously...BAKING a difference!

and to Barbara who made it with love!
We froze some of the cake, and it will be
traveling with us to San Diego...
becuase eating some on the beach will
be fantastic!

I was so busy talking I turned around

So my friend Kim, visits Sweet Daddy Cupcakes
A Lot.
She mentioned something about Mia
and they absolutely wanted to help out.
They donated 100 red velvet cupcakes
for Mia's 100th party.
Seriously, who does that??
Sweet Daddy Cupcakes did, and was happy to do it.
If you haven't been in there, you MUST go.
They were on cupcake wars - on TV.
Enough said...they are literally the best!

My dear friend Alison came to help the frazzled mom (me)
setting up etc. and brought Mia red roses.

A huge thank you to the balloon ladies
who made it look fantastic.
The only thing Mia specifically asked for,
was balloons.
(I'm just saying, if I knew what a hard thing
it was going to be...I wouldn't have done it!-
LOL to the people who know what I'm taking about.)
But in the end it all worked out.
Mia rocked the 'red blood cell' costume.
Who knew there was even such a thing.

so they got her a Taylor Swift shirt...
Oh yeah...rocking it.
She loves it...wears it all the time,
plus it's her favorite color too!
...and a Taylor Swift bracelet...
...and a guitar pick that Taylor Swift used
in her concert. Hello. How cool is that?!
Because that wasn't enough right there,
they gave her a photo of Zendaya saying:
So Mia gets to go to the JJR&K studio and meet Zendaya.
if you do not have a bunh of girls like me,
Zendaya is on the Disney Channel, was on DWTS
and her own album comes out 9/17/13.

We opened up Mia's party to kids who are
currently in the hospital.
this little guys mom wanted to meet Mia.
He is waiting to have a transplant...
but he doesn't weigh enough. He's one year old
and really tiny...they cannot procede with
the transplant until he weighs 20 pounds.
so they are waiting...
it warmed my heart that kids came with their IV
polls to the party. I'm so happy they all felt
comfortable enough to come.

Mia has been wanting to meet her for SO long!
I'm so glad they finally met.

they love each other, so sweet.
Mia and Ava - who have been friends since
first grade...so cute.

They are so supportive of mia.
We collected so many toys and gift cards
for the hospital, an e-mail from them said:
I love Alyssa!!
She brought so many goodies for the toy closets,
she has the most kindest and giving heart!
We never forget Layla...Madison let a balloon
go up to layla in heaven, so did Mia.
We promise never to forget those we
met along our way.
