Make A Wish - Part 4

After a nice breakfast, we wanted to spend some time
at the beach. It was a busy day yesterday, so
relaxing was definitely what we all wanted.
We were wondering where Alyssa & Madison were...
but Mia found them - in the ocean,
looking over our balcony, from the 29th floor.

Lets zoom in a little, yep, that's them.
It's about...7:30 am.
We headed down.

I love this...kind of makes me teary eyed
for some reason.

It's kind of a windy/cloudy day...

So the waves were a little bigger...

If you need me, I'll be here.

Or, I'll be taking photos.

Mia had fun just playing with an oar.
It's the little things.

Madison and Alyssa had fun in the sand.

Hmmm, is something missing?

The Faith Surf School let us borrow the boards,
again. Seriously, probably the highlight of our trip.

While Alyssa and Mia were playing in the ocean,
Madi and Matt decided to check out the pool.

I don't know who had the most fun, Madi or Matt?

We had to coax the surfer girls into the pool.

All this playing and swimming makes a girl
hungry. Lunch by the ocean is always good!

People watching is fun too.

They loved the smoothies...cheers.

Silly.

 Sisters.

The rest of the day was spent in the pool.
Again, we are so blessed to be making
these memories, thank you God!

When we got back to the room, there was a surprise
waiting for us. A yummy surprise.
An edible arrangement basket and chocolate
covered strawberries. Can I just say, with 4 girls...
they were gone! AND...we didn't even know who
it was from. It was a mystery...the card said:
From Ragnar.

Make A Wish - Part 3

Another sunrise over the beach...

Today is our Adventure with the Dolphins...
We hoped in the car and drove the scenic route to
Sea Life Park.

We saw Whales along the way.

Wednesday March 20th

We all liked the shark tank.

Mia really liked the turtles...

Getting ready to swim with the dolphins...

Madison isn't old enough to do the dolphin encoutner,
so we had to go at different times.

Mia had to wait until after our turn.

There we are getting in the water...
Matt and Alyssa took photos of us.

Oh Madison is so cute.

Here comes our 'Walphin' -
She's a half whale/dolphin so she was really big.

There's Madison giving the dolphin a kiss,
and me pointing to make sure Madison gets
a good photo!!

So sweet...I told her that she's a mermaid.

And mermaids dance with dolphins...

Precious.

Lots of splashes!

Seriously, who am I waving at?
Alyssa? (haha!)

After our turn, it was time for the other McPoland group.
They got to actually get in the water with
a different dolphin. It was really neat!

Masks on.

You know you live in Arizona when your girls are the
last to get in because it's 'cold.'

But they did it!

The dolphin swam under them, wow!
How fun.

Ok that look is like,
'Did you just hear what Dad said?!'
Too funny.

Aww, Matt kissing another girl.
That's ok though ;)

After that everyone had to get out of the water.
The dolphin trainer said that it was Matt's fault.
Because he had bad breath.

Just kidding! It was because the dolphin had a
baby, and she was getting protective or something like that,
so when everyone gets out, the dolphin doesn't
get fish...of course it wants fish, so she has to behave.
When she was fine they all could get back in the water.

Here we go...Mia's turn!

She swam out tot he middle and had to hold her
arm like that so the dolphin could swim up by her
and pull her...so cool! It happened soo fast, that I didn't
get a picture.
Reason #3 to go back to Hawaii -
I need a picture of Mia with the dolphin!

Alyssa's up next! At least I got a few of her.

She's fast!

Dad is up...

I love this one of his face!
He had SO much fun.

Ashley's turn...

Since Mia is a Make A Wisher -
they let them have just a few minutes by themselves.

It was really good!

We also watched a cool show...

Thank you Sea Life Park and Make A Wish
for some awesome memories today!
We LOVED it.
If you have always wanted to swim with them,
you should. Life is too short to not do it.

Did you know that
swimming with Dolphins makes you tired?
It does.

But the day isn't over! Time to drive to the North Shore!

Matt really wanted to eat out of a shrimp truck.
Hmmmm.
That wasn't really on my list of things to do in
Hawaii, but hey...we had to do it.

Here's another look at the truck.
I'm not too sure about eating food out of a truck
like this...

But I had onehappy husband!
I will admitt, it was REALLY good.
I'd go back.
Our name is written on that truck now.
Reason #4 to go back to Hawaii-
To see if our name is still there.

After that it was time for some Matsumoto Shaved Ice.
Another must if you are in the North Shore.

The line is long but goes fast.

Ohhhhhh yummy, and rainbow.
It's a win!

One of my favortie pics that I...deleted.
So here's my instagram version.

So one thing I wanted to do was go back to Lanikai beach
where Matt and I stayed 13 years ago...
but it was an hour and a half drive and no one
wanted to go. Well, I have my camera, so we're
going. We were racing the sunset though...and didn't
even make it to Lanikai...

Kailua beach it is...

They had fun.

Plus, this is one of my favorite photos...
it was another amazing day in Hawaii!
We are blessed.
