Another birthday and a bunny...

Last Sunday, Mia had another birthday party at Grannie's house...with Auntie Michelle visiting from Seattle. It was a fun evening...with more cake!

The cupcake tree...we know we will see these again for Madison's birthday - especially pink princess ones!

Make a wish...again.

Opening presents...

Mia did a fashion show for us since her presents were new clothes...have you ever seen her in blue?! We love it...

I'm not sure what this party game is called, maybe...move over or I'll sit on you...? Regardless, Auntie Michelle has never heard so much noise in all her life...lol! - It's normal in a family with 4 girls, what can I say.

Build A Bear Work Shop

I finally took Mia to use her gift card from her birthday to build a bear, wow, that was a lesson in patience.

She picked a bunny...

Time to stuff.

Time for a bath.

Wa-laa..

Time to name the bunny, I think I'll name her...Mia.

She also picked out a black skirt and a pink shirt...hmmmm, I wonder where she got that idea from?

Mia had a great time using her gift card...hope you had another happy birthday Mia! (Hey Ashley, next time could you hold the camera still, please?!)

Something to think about...

Wow, this is great! I encourage all of us mom's to read this, and then do it. Click here to see what I need to read everyday.

Walking for Hope...

Bright and early this morning...we arrived in Scottsdale at DC Ranch to participate in the first ever 5K HopeWalk! Mia is our HopeKid and I am so proud of all her sisters for getting up so early to walk for hope.

GO TEAM MIA MINIE MOE!

Look who else was there!!! - Ethan's family the Farabee's (our neighbors), tons of teachers from Fulton Elementary, my bootcamp friend Terri, Mike & Brandy from our small group, and Mia's 2 fabulous nurses! - Which, hello, I didn't get a picture of!

Here is the Fulton Fire Crew...Miss P. on the left - The BEST PE teacher EVER in the world, Mia's 1st grade teacher Mrs. Ferber, Mrs. Conti - who brought Mia's 6th grade buddy along from her class, Mia's Kindergarten teacher Mrs. Titchenal, Mia holding a sign saying Thank You Fulton Elementary, Mrs. Foster Alyssa's 3rd grade teacher, and Mia's buddy in 6th grade Kennedy. This team raised $250.00!! Way to go!

More kids that go to Fulton and the teachers...seriously, what teachers give up a Sunday morning to walk for some of their students?!?! Only the BEST!

My bootcamp friend Terri Smith joined us for this special day...we love you Terri!

Getting ready to walk...

Raise your hand if you are a HopeKid?! - 3 teams won for best team name...Yea for Team Mia Minie Moe - thanks to Miss P. for giving Mia that nickname, we won!

HOPEWALK

Mia hitched a ride with Ethan's dad and sister Brooke...

Ashley & Alyssa were the first to finish the walk...I guess having a ripstick and a razor scooter helped.

Way to walk for hope Mia...even though you were really hot and tired, you did it!

Sometimes there are no words to describe something, well, that's how Madison was this morning. It was hot out, I'll give her that, but...oh my. We all got split up, Mia was some where with the Farabee's, Matt has helping with the detour, and I wanted to find Mia. Mrs. Foster was kind enough to push the stroller with Madison in it for us, and Maddy wasn't happy about it. I can only imagine...that's all I have to say. So when we finally finished the walk this is how I found her.

The first finishers were waiting in the shade when we rolled in...

Have I told you how much I love MissP?! - Well, we ALL do. She's the one who gave Mia the nickname Mia Minie Moe...thanks Miss P!

Mike and Brandy walked with us representing our bible study group...thanks guys!

And a special Thank You to all the people who donated money for this HopeKid Walk...we raised $1,050 for HopeKids!

AND thank you to all the annonomous donors as well!

Thank you to everyone who donated money in honor of Mia for this special day, and thank you for keeping her in your thoughts and prayers...Go Mia Minie Moe!

Mia's 7th birthday!

Happy birthday Mia! - Mia got to choose what she wanted for her special birthday dinner...she picked eggs, turkey bacon, texas toast, and I threw in some fruit to be healthy. If anyone knows Mia, you know that for some strange reason she LOVES salty foods...oh my.

Earlier in the afternoon...Madison helped to make the chocolate cake...but we won't even look at where she poked her fingers in the cake when no one was looking to swipe the frosting.

Mia's special day ~

Make a wish! - She wasn't supposed to tell us what she wished for, but she shared it anyways: A new house. Everyone turned and looked at me...I seriously had NOTHING to do with that.

Mia enjoyed opening her presents from her sisters...

PETER PIPER PIZZA! - Friday night...

Mia really wanted to go to Peter Piper Pizza for her birthday, so we went last night to start the celebration early.

Mia's BFF McKinley met us for some fun...

Madison had SO much fun playing the games and toys...I think she thought we went there for her.

Alyssa kept a good eye on Madison...she just wanted to look at all the prizes.

Matt had fun sitting down the whole night...he couldn't walk after his injury from basketball the night before. That's ok, he guarded our spot.

Our neighbor's the Farabee's stopped by...Ethan is Mia's friend and classmate. They both go to the same doctor's office. His sister Brooke also got to come and have some fun. So did Ethan's brother Jake but he was really busy playing games! Ethan helped Mia open her presents...

Miss Christine also came...Mia's favorite nurse in the world...(and mine to!) They share the SAME birthday, another reason why they are kindred spirits.

Mia giving her gift to Miss Christine...

They had a great time playing on the toys...

Ashley made sure all the kids had their tokens and tickets...she even brought along her previous tickets and used them to buy Mia and McKinley matching princess crowns and rings. She even scored Ethan the sword for 300 points LESS than what it was worth. Way to go Ashley! The night got even better when McKinley got to sleepover at our house. They had so much fun!

Hope you had a fun birthday Mia...or should I say, birthday's?!
