Ashley's Photo Shoot - By: Brooke

Ashley's photo shoot - for her 16th birthday.
My sweet friend Brooke loves to take photos.
She took these of Ashley for me as gift.
Seriously Brooke, thank you!
I can't blieve Ashley is 16 now, and can drive.
When did that happen? (How old am I??)

I know nothing in life is perfect...
but this is the closest to perfetion you can get.
(You must get it from my side of the family Ash :)

Good grief...gorgeous.
Thank you to Brooke Sizemore Photography
for capturing my oldest daughter Ashley.

Mia's Photo Shoot - The Kindness of a Stranger

Talk about blessed to have these photos.
A friend of a friend heard about Mia's
up and coming 100th transfusion party.
She thought it would be nice for us to
have some nice photos of Mia to have as a
keepsake. Did I mention, I didn't even know her?
Well Amanda isn't a stragner anymore, she's a friend.
Thank you so much Amanda, more than words.
And here's what she did for us...
Make sure you see what she posted about Mia
on her blog:

This is my favorite photo.
It captures Mia just the way I would think of
her. I love you Mia.

Mia's 100th Blood Transfusion

We've talked about this day for years.
It's here...and now it's gone.
In a blink of an eye, a flash.

Over 150 + have donated their blood so
that she could live.

She can roam the halls, and be with us.

Today was her 100th blood transfusion.
THAT is something to celebrate!

Conrats Mia!

We could NOT have done it without
her BFF nurse Miss Christine.
(They share a birthday - come on!)
What nurse does that??
And what nurse has held you since
you were a baby - till 10 years old?!

Mia knew her teachers...Mr. J & Ms. Conti
were coming. Anxious doesn't describe it!.
She kept looking out the window for them!

Finally they arrived!
Ms. Conti was Mia's teacher for 4th grade
when we went on our Make-A-Wish trip.

We LOVE you Ms. Conti!!

Mr. J is Mia's current 5th grade teacher
and he will be the DJ at her
100th Transfusion Party!
Yo yo yo Mr. J!!!

We love you both SO much.
Thank yu for taking the time out of your
day to come visit Mia.
We had a blast!
The school was fine without you??
Unless they were waiting on the playground
all day, because you didn't show up??

Anyways, it was FUN!

LOVE them.

One of my fav's.

Hmmm...lets take Mr. J's temp...

While we're at it...lets take Ms. Conti's
blood pressure etc.
They were the BEST!
