Our 17th Anniversary

Happy Anniversary to us. We are...getting old. At least we feel that way.

Here's a flashback to when we first met, 1996... this was the first day I went to Church as an older person. I remember it so well.

Lets do a side by side comparison...Matt has lost some hair, but you know what...he's even more handsome to me! He looks better with age.

Usually we go out of town somewhere for our Anniversary, but this year we stayed home. We reenacted our wedding dance to Chicago...our girls thought it was hilarious.

The happy dancing couple!

Mia's 106th + Boot Camp for Blood

Mia's getting her 106th blood transfusion today.
She's a champ...and sporting a
'Jack Strikes Back' shirt
for a buddy who has Leukemia.
PRECIOUS.

Mia found some sweet black glasses.
With no lenses.
Perfect for doing homework in the hospital
while drinking a Dutch Bros hot chocolate.

Miss Courtney came in to show Mia the Port Doll.
She explained how it all works etc. and the surgery
to place it inside of you. Very interesting.

Mia really wanted to bring the port to school to
show her class. But, ports are expensive - haha.
You can't just pass them out.
So we took this pic to show how small it is.
Brave sweet girl.

Join us for Mia's next blood drive! Even if you can't donate blood, there's lots
of things going on.
