My English Mum's Birthday

The girls and I fancied up...and took
in Carefree, Arizona for her birthday.

What a very English place.
If you didn't know...my mum was born in
High Wycombe, England.

The girls were so excited for tea with Grannie!

A tea pot chandelier...

Tea cup chandelier...

Ashley...?

We took lots of pretty pictures.

All the tables are set beautifully...

One of the best parts about this tea room,
is they have many hats to choose from to wear.

Mia rocked this hat.

Does it fit, then? (with an accent :)

Cheers to a lovely lunch and tea.

She was absolutely cracking us up with
her pinkie's...plural.

Very lady like...with positively good manners.

Beautiful.
One of my favorite photos of her...
straight out of a Jane Austin movie.

Soup in a tea cup and tea sandwich's...

Yummy.

Oh my mum was so excited about this...
a ploughman's lunch.
She ALWAYS gets this when she goes to England.
She grew up on this!

Happy Birthday Mum.

We had such a good time, and we made
some wonderful memories.

The girls...in our hats.

Opening birthday cards..

One made her get teary eyed...

'Pardon me, your majesty the Queen...'

Time to go...

I love how Madison is holding princess
Kate's hand.

Until next time.

Mia's 97th blood transfusion

Mia's #97 already...but they only gave her
one unit this time...so we'll probably be
back to the hospital sooner than later.
She gets really tired now, because they
give her medicine to make her relax.

She came in with curly hair, but came out
with it straightened.

We got all dolled up after her transfusion and headed
to Couture Customs in Scottsdale to say
'thank you' to people who donate money to
Camp Soaring Eagle,
the camp who flew Mia across the country
to the Hole in the Wall gang camp.
She lives for this camp and all the people there.

Mia and her friends checked people in as they
came through the door.
Perfect job for Mia!

He's not the cars salesman...
it's the hubs. For a second I thought he
was going to get me this car :)

Mia already has her car picked out.
Actually, I think it fits her very well.
Nice choice Mia!

This is pretty cool too. We had to leave early
because she had a very busy day.
