Our family & friends (& fellow boot campers!) joined us for the 3rd annual 5K Hopewalk. It was so great to have everyone there to support not only Hopekids, but our family as well.
Matt with his mom and his Aunt Kathy from Vashon Island, WA. came to be with us as well. I'm pretty sure Kathy came in first for her age group :) We really missed Matt's dad Dennis this year. He came last year and couldn't walk because of his hip...but we know he was smiling down on us.

These faces are the reason we walked...and raised money for Hopekids. The first year, Ethan came in first place for fundraising. Then last year, Mia Minie Moe came in frist place for fundraising. So this year, we decided to join alliances so that it would be TREVOR's year to win. Some of you may know that Trevor's mom Wendy, passed away from cancer in April of this year. Needless to say, it's been a tough year for Trevor and his dad Daryl. It was Laura & I's GOAL to make Trevor win. Plus, we wanted him to win so he could ride in the Batmobile with his dad.
