Mia had her 47th blood transfusion today...and a very special person was there with her the whole time, her big sis Alyssa. They sat together in the hospital bed for the whole 8 hours we were there. It was great because Mia had someone to talk to and play with. It helped to keep her busy. I think Alyssa has a future in nursing...she is so caring and compassionate.
So I am officially getting my hair done...thanks Alyssa for getting a good shot of the grey hairs I am now sporting! (If you click on the pic you can really see them!)

If I hear sponge bob one more time I will probably scream. They wanted to watch season 1 & 2...oh my word.
Alyssa enjoyed doing some crafts like painting and coloring...while Mia was just happy to have some company. They sure giggled a lot.

It happened to be Miss Elizabeth's birthday (in the red) and Miss Tony's (left) birthday tomorrow...so Miss Christine (right) brought in cupcakes for everyone! Ohhhh, they were so good especially with homemade frosting. YUM! The girls really enjoyed eating those. When we were done with everything, Mia literally skipped down the hall way to the elevator. I am so thankful she feels better.

Way to go #47! You have some sweet girls, Kristi. Ashley doing makeovers with her sister and now Alyssa spending some quality time with her at the hospital. It's awesome to see. That is the way families should be. :)s
I'm so glad she is feeling better, and how fun to have her big sis with her for the day. How cute that she's giving her jaguar surgery.
Glad Mia is feeling better and she had her sis Alyssa to be with her for 8 HOURS, what a sweetheart! Ok, Ava loves Spongebob too! At first I wouldn't let her watch it but a week home with dad that changed. It's really not bad and actually quite funny.
Cupcakes look good. I'm making those for my last day of work Tuesday for the girls.
