Back from camp...

Ashley's back from camp!!! She went to San Diego & stayed at the Point Loma campus for 4 nights & 5 days...by herself. Well, without us. She went with her discipleship group...of about 12 girls. FUN! It took 11 charter buses to get all 500 kids there Jr. High - High School, whew! She had an amazing time, thanks to all the people at EVBC who pull this off every year.
Things she will remember:
- her 1st communion
- the food
- friends
- the dorms
- the ocean view

This is a view of where they did a bunch of games...Ashley liked the mega box game the best. Over a slippery wet tarp with laundry soap and a giant box over you, you had to get to the other side to your team number. It apparently was really slippery...and loads of fun!

We visited this cross on the PLNU campus on our last family vacation to San Diego...

We had a special dinner waiting when we got home from picking her up: homemade lasagna & ceasar salad.

Dig in!

It happened to be Lancaster's birthday as well. That worked out good...since we made cupcakes. Usually I don't make cupcakes for stuffed animals, but Lancaster is special. Mia got him from the hospital about 3 years ago. He's special to her.

Glad Ashley had fun! That must have been hard to let her go. Dinner looks great, and how sweet to make a cupcake for Mia's special stuffed animal! :)

Oh how fun for Ashley!! What a great age to go to camp with 12 of your friends & have your 1st Communion. That is definitely one of my favorite things to do at church. I wish we had done this when we were HS but Cheer camp was fun too, especially the food and all the laughs & staying up late.
Uhmm Yummy dinner, I'm on my way...

Love & miss you,
Christina
