Seattle - Part 1 - The Cabin

This is the morning after we flew into Seattle. We stayed the night at Matt's sisters house up in Snoqualmie the night we flew in. We then drove to Matt's parents condo in Redmond where my sister picked us up to stay the night at her cabin while Matt worked. Whew, we were busy!

The view from the condo...

My sister picked us up at the condo and we headed off to her cabin. The girls squeezed in the back of her car ready for an adventure in the woods.

We pulled off this side of the road about 2 miles before the cabin to walk down a trail to see a beautiful spot to see the river. (Ashley only had slippery sandals on so she stayed at the car.)

I almost had a heart attack watching Madison around the river. This river was COLD and FAST.

Auntie Michelle and her niece's...except we're missing Ashley.

My sister's cabin in Baring...it's so cute!

On the other side of the road is this beautiful river...

Auntie Michelle gave the girls bug catchers and nets to play with...they were a hit!

We went on lots of walks...Madison loved having a butterfly net to play with, she ran all over looking for bugs to catch.

The grass and flowers were so tall, watch out for slugs! - Speaking of slugs...

The girls were disgusted and fascinated by all the slugs, they were every where! Watch out where you step.

The next morning we walked to the Baring Store for breakfast. It's a store, post office and breakfast place all in one. Actually that's what the whole town consists of.

Pancakes, french toast, & eggs oh my!

Madison waiting for her eggs and pancakes...

The walk back to the cabin is amazing. It's so pretty everywhere you look.

Harry from the 80's movie Harry and the Henderson's...

We stopped by the smallest church ever ont he side of the road and sang - How Great is our God!
