Today was a good day. Mia's hgb was pretty high at 10.0, but with school starting next week the doctor went ahead and allowed her to get a blood transfusion since we knew she would need one. I certainly didn't want her to miss school the first week back! We went to Starbucks first thing of course and then headed to the hospital.
Miss Nancy brought her straightener...we love fancy Nancy!!
Mia has a lot, I repeat, a lot of hair! Wow, it's straightened and a little wavy. She loved tossing that mane around all day!
Mia's friend Ava stopped by to say hi, and hang out for a while...
...they danced, and danced some more. Sigh...oh how I love friends. They certainly bring a smile to your heart.
We got some awesome videos of Miss Christine singing too...it was a great day. Time flew by!
