The new place & Layla

Mia had her doctor appt. yesterday to check her counts...and who was there!??! Layla! We haven't seen Layla in such a long time because she has been in California, having surgery for her cancer. We were so surprised to see her back!

And to make things even better...we saw Dr. William's! We haven't seen him in a long time either...so it was a fun day at the doctor's office. Mia's Hgb was 9.6 - and if we would have waited to give her a transfusion until next week, she would have been to low. So we had to go the NEW PLACE - Cardon Children's Hospital - to POTC to get her type and cross done. It was a long walk to find the new wing...

We stopped by the old POTC (Pediatric Outpatient Treatment Center) and no one was there. It is such a tiny room with beds...and that's it. I will miss this place because it was really cozy, and we had been there for years.

We kept walking and walking and came by the trains...Madison loves this!

We walked some more and found more trains!

We knew we had made it when we saw all the kids stuff...

We made it! Those nurses look familliar! We got all ready for Mia's next transfusion.
