Mia's 114th blood transfusion

Another day at Cardon Children's Medical Center...for this brave sweet girl.
Number 114th done...but she feels better.

Like always, we HEART blood donors. Each and everyone of them. She literally would not be here if it weren't for them. We appreciate your time so much!

Mia is definitely a Phoenix Mercury FAN for life. They will always be number one in her eyes, forever!

Go Merc!!

Guess who are fans...Mia's nurses!! They are always SO supportive of everything Mia does.

Guess who stopped by to take the #BTMChallenge?! Miss Arizona USA - Jordan Wessel. We love her tons! She will go very far in life...she is a determined young lady!

Here she is doing her homework...I didn't even ask her to do it, she's just so responsible like that, way to go Mia! God has really blessed us with her life. Amen!

Mia's next blood drive is September 20th...come on down and donate blood AND see if you are a potential bone marrow match to Mia. YOU could Be THE CURE!!! If you can't donate marrow, then think about donating money, it costs $100.00 for every test! (Free between 18-44 years old!) CLICK HERE to find out more!

I wanted to not forget this...this was her doctor appointment BEFORE her blood transfusion.
We got to go into Jette's Room. We knew Jette was a Hopekid, but he didn't make it and passed away a few months ago. I think he was 13 years old. So some people got together and made this amazing
room in the doctor office to remember him by.

The words on the wall read: YOU GOT THIS!!

Jette loved music, and on the wall  you can write a message on a chalkboard silhouette like a drum set...Mia wrote:

You are very brave! See you in heaven. - Mia

Then she turned to me and said,' Mom, when I pass away can you do that for me? Except I want it to be a giant blood drop.'

Sigh...yes, Mia but you'll  be here for a very long time! Her nurse Miss Tiffany agreed.

Getting her type and cross with these awesome nurses...Nurses Rock!
